John Brown & Co was born a family run firm with the original owners still associated with the company assisting in the comprehensive range of services including Residential Sales, headed by Managing Director, David Bamber who is assisted by Elaine Burrows, and Lettings Manager Alex Chialton with administration duties provided by Linda Lloyd and Emma Buck and company representative John Burgess carrying out all accompanied viewings thus ensuring property security.
The company’s sales progression unit is also housed within the branch, managed by Julie Colvin and her highly experienced team of negotiators, who will ensure, with the assistance of John Brown conveyancing that all sales are closely monitored, and as a result progressed through to completion.
As well as sales we pride ourselves on the Letting a property which can sometimes be a complicated business. That’s why you need dedicated professionals working on your behalf, guiding you in the right direction and making sure your tenancy runs smoothly. In addition to the free initial assessment of the property we provide you with a helpful information pack containing advice and recommendations, highlighting any potential problem areas. We will then set out our terms and charges, so you can be sure there are no hidden charges. On receipt of your instructions we will market the property and obtain references, for your approval, on prospective tenants. When terms have been agreed we will prepare a statement of condition, or inventory where required, and an appropriate tenancy agreement. We also have a separate department specialising in student accommodation and the letting of accommodation to DSS tenants.
