Rent a Room General Information
You will generally fall into 1 of 3 types of people.
- You already rent a place and one or more people are now moving out so you require to rent the room.
- You own the property and you wish to rent the house or flat, but wish to do it on a room by room basis. If you wish to rent the house or flat as a whole see our lettings section.
- You own the house or flat and you require a lodger or flatshare. Don't forget any earnings up to a certain amount is tax free. See the government website at the following, link.
How do people find my room to let?
There are 2 ways that people will find your room to let whether it is a flatshare or a room to rent in a house.
- By using our flatmate/ housemate finder.
- Users that sign up to our find a flatmate, housemate homesbyemail service. When a room to let that falls into the housemates criteria such as price or location, they will automatically be emailed your room to rent with a link to your advert.
Our Services
Our services are simple and there is no catch or small print. Our FREE rent a room / flatshare service allows you to place an advert with the following for 2 Weeks:
- 1 photo (Please make sure it is a photo of the house, flat or room).
- Do as many changes as you wish. Some changes will require your advert to be re-approved, such as changing/ adding a photo. This is done within 48hrs (working hours).
- You choose which contact details are displayed against your advert. All emails sent through our system to you will also be logged in your account.
- Access to FULL lead details.
- Management centre with 24/7 access allowing you to add/ edit or delete your room to rent, and also view your email leads.
- After 2 Weeks choose our premium service to continue your advert
In addition to our free service we have a £9.99 service. This has all the benefits of the free service PLUS these for 1 full month.
- 12 photos. (Include other photos that are important to a successful rent, such as kitchen, bathroom etc.)
