48 Colfe Road
If you need a smart two bedroom, ground floor, with the added perk of off street parking and a rather large private garden then this Victorian beaut is just the ticket.
Colfe Road is lined with well groomed Victorian dwellings and has easy parking on the road (if the off street is not enough), it links up with the (A205) South Circular and a short walk will have you in the thick of the Forest Hill.
Park the motor off road and take the entrance to the shared hallway, yours is the door on the left. Enter in to the hallway which zigzags through the length of your apartment with some clever storage cubbies along the way, wood flooring in underfoot the decor is peacefully pale.
The first room we encounter is the reception room a tall ceiling, bay window with white shutters, and a ornate fireplace reminds you of why you love Victorian conversions! Next we come across the bathroom, a full size suite in white with electric shower over the tub, the tiles are a artisan blue.
Zag along the hall and we locate the kitchen a nice size with a modern slab wood unit allowing lots of storage, the usual appliance feature. Two double glazed doors can be thrown open wide (weather dependant) and leads you to your expansive private garden, ideal for those "Monte Don" wannabes!
Back in and along the hall is bedroom number two a single/study/nursery, carpeted in a mottled grey, with big window to the side, a nice cosy room. The master bedroom is at the very end and enjoys a serene outlook from the large bay window that takes in the vista of your garden, this is a great size double with cosy carpet in grey and light off white on the walls.
Transport is a doddle here, the bus stops just at the end of the road and you can pick up the 122, 185, you can park without restriction on Colfe Road, but who needs a car when you are about 10minutes walk to Forest Hill Station with fast trains into London Bridge or jump on the East London Line (Overground).
