I was looking for somewhere where I could combine both the running of my business with a family home with land attached, says David, and this was the perfect location. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen which is lovely and big. We like to cook and entertain in here and can easily fit in 100 guests at one time. Theres room for a big table and chairs where you could easily seat 20 people and I love to watch tv in here lying on the couch and Ill often doze off til the early hours!

The back garden is open plan with a level grassed area. Its fully enclosed and is completely secure. The gates at the rear of the garden lead out into a field where you can walk for miles and Im often out there with the dogs. Weve recently planted a number of trees and bushes, including conifers, which should be a good height and size in 3 or 4 years time.

I like to spend time in the kitchen and the massive TV room which is just off it. Its got a 100-inch TV on the wall and its great to get the guys round to watch the football matches. The open fire makes the room feel really comfortable.

Its very private and totally secure here and I love that the office area is separate to the family living space. In fact, the office space is so relaxing that I often spend time in there to chill by myself! Theres a carport with space for parking up to 25 cars which is really useful for business and when were entertaining.

The garden is designed for parties and we have hosted a friends wedding reception with 600 guests! We had a big marquee, a live band and basically everything youd expect at a wedding, it really was a brilliant weekend!

Weve lived here since 2014 and we worked really hard to get the house to where it is today. To be honest, Ill be disappointed to sell it! To find something like this will be very difficult but due to family and work circumstances, Im finding myself spending more time in London which involves a lot of travelling, so we need to make the move to be closer to London.
