Property investors 'believe UK market will improve'

Overseas property investors have predicted the UK property market will move towards growth in the future.

UK and overseas property investors believe the country's ailing market will experience growth and emerge from the difficult times, according to an expert.

Daniel Burgess, managing director of discountletting.co.uk, said purchasing dwellings in this area is perceived as a "relatively safe bet" despite the current economic climate.

For this reason, Mr Burgess suggested London's financial district is an ideal place for UK and overseas investors who are able to gain access to adequate funds.

He went on to state this increasing demand would drive the establishment prices up, making them out of reach for regular consumers.

"Compared to other parts of the EU, the UK is seen as a relatively safe bet, although the future doesn't look bright for the UK at the moment," Mr Burgess concluded.

This comes after Alan Ward, chairman at the Residential Landlords Association, noted that demand for rental property in the UK is likely to remain strong in the coming years.
