Property News - Housing issues 'impacting young people'

Young people are being encouraged to have their voices heard on the serious issue of housing.

Young people up and down the country are being disproportionately affected by the nation's ongoing housing crisis.

This is the view of housing association Family Mosaic, with the organisation keen to ensure young people now clearly have their voices heard at the upcoming general election and ensure housing receives the appropriate level of attention by the incoming new government.

As such, Family Mosaic has launched its new campaign 'Be Heard' and is encouraging young people across the UK to vote on May 7th.

Family Mosaic chief executive Brendan Sarsfield commented: "By encouraging our customers to be counted on the electoral role, we believe that the next government will be more likely to represent their issues."

He added that the right to vote is something special and more young people should exercise this privilege and ensure their views and concerns are represented when the nation takes to the polls next month.
