We are a family run business with the directors accumulating over 40 years experience of the highs and lows of the London property market.
We are therefore fully aware of the often daunting prospect of moving home. Whether you are a first time mover or a large fully equipped family we will try to ensure a smooth and relatively stress-free move.
Bracewells Estate Agents have been selected By ‘Hometrack’ to help provide up to date information for ‘Hometrack’ who are the countries leading independent provider of data for analysis and use by the major banks, building societies and the media.
The office provides a warm and friendly environment, and is child-friendly with a 'kiddies' corner to occupy the little hands and active minds. We also have a small art gallery with a number of paintings by respected local artist Patricio Bosich.
Well, it may not be London’s trendiest High Street...YET! However, if you walk along Hornsey High Street you will certainly notice a considerable change over the past few years. Previously empty or uninviting shops have been transformed into flourishing businesses - the landmark Public House ‘Three Compasses’ is a fine example. Recently refurbished, it offers an excellent choice of food and a tempting range of real ales and wines. Tesco Express have recently opened a store in the High Street
The award winning development at the ‘New River Village’ by St James Homes, has transformed a large area of idle wasteland into this exciting contemporary development enhanced by the impressive former pump house which is now a trendy up market restaurant and bar and incorporates an arts centre operated by The Royal Academy of Art, the first of its kind away from the home of the academy.
There are also the new footpaths which are open along the New River. You can now walk by the river from Hornsey High Street to Penstone Path by the reservoirs. If you walk the path from the High Street you will see a disused iron girder bridge. This bridge carried a narrow gauge of railway track on which a train pulled trucks of coal from the sidings to the pump house many years ago.
This is not all! The High Street is a conservation area and with the attractions of the award winning Priory Park at one end and interesting historical features including the medieval St Mary’s church tower dating back to early 1300’s, which is open to the public at certain times of the year.
Also the cattle trough and water fountain and not forgetting the world famous Alexandra Palace, which can be seen on the skyline from many parts of the capital.
Bracewells Estate Agents are very proud to have been a part of the High Street community since 1999.
