Proceed from Exeter along the A30 into Cornwall. Leave the A30 at the Highgate Hill Interchange and leave the roundabout at the third exit signposted A39. At the next T-junction take a right turn for Mawgan Porth B3276. Follow this road down into Mawgan Porth and through the village, climbing the hill on the opposite side. Towards the top of the hill there is a sharp left hand bend. Follow the road passing the Bedruthan Hotel on the left. Continue for another quarter of a mile or so and you will eventually see a post/telephone box on the left. Turn left here and immediately right (road marked Private Access Only). Drive down the lane, take the right fork and proceed up the lane passing a pink house on the right hand side. Carne Crest is the next house on the right.
