Parkland View Extra Care

Parkland View is a purpose-built Extra Care development of modern apartments for the over 55's. Located close to the heart of Derby city centre, and offering panoramic views over the picturesque River Derwent, Graham Penny Estates is pleased to be selling 20 apartments at 75% ownership.

Designed over four floors, Parkland View offers both community and independent living with accessible facilities including a restaurant, lounges on each floor, craft room, laundry room, hairdressers, assisted bathroom and shop.

Extra Care Housing

Extra Care housing offers a modern way of supporting you to live independently with accessible facilities including a restaurant, communal lounges on each floor, a therapy room and courtyard garden. It gives you the security and privacy of your own home, a range of facilities on the premises plus the added peace of mind in knowing there is access to 24 hour on site care staff for emergency support if needed.

Extra Care is different because...

- You have your own front door - you decide who comes in

- Couples and friends can stay together

- There are Care staff on site to provide 24 hour emergency support if you need it

- You live in a self-contained flat with your own front door

- You can join in social activities - or you can be private

- You have a 'home to live in' - not 'live in a home'

What costs are involved with Extra Care Housing?

The amount you pay will vary depending on your individual situation and your income. You may have to pay all of the costs or you may be entitled to benefits to meet some or all of the cost.
