- 0% for properties less than £40,000
- Stamp duty levy of 3% on top of normal rates for properties above £40,000
- First Time Buyer
- 0% for the first £425,000 for properties up to £625,000
- 5% between £425,001 and £625,000 for properties up to £625,000
- Properties above £625,000 single property rules apply
Scotland
- Additional Property
- 0% for properties less than £40,000
- Stamp duty levy of 4% on top of normal rates for properties above £40,000
- First Time Buyer
Wales
- Additional Property
- 0% for properties less than £40,000
- 4% for properties up to £180,000
- 7.5% between £180,001 and £250,000
- 9% between £250,001 and £400,000
- Stamp duty levy of 4% on top of normal rates for properties above £400,000
- First Time Buyer
- Same as single property rules
