"We had been restoring a Grade II listed property nearby when Woodstock Cottage became available: we jumped at the opportunity to breathe new life into this historic building! We knew that the entire property would need to be stripped back to its bare bones before we could restore it to the highest standard. In the process of renovation, we added a two-storey extension to the rear of the property using reclaimed bricks from the removal of outbuildings and garden walls, as well as pitching the roof to the same angle as the existing property, so externally it matches the original building in every way. We were also able to create a double vaulted atrium, which floods the centre of the building with light, augmenting the spacious feel of the ground floor with floor-to-ceiling corner windows looking onto the rear garden. The result of efforts was that we were able to restore Woodstock Cottage to a condition that is perfect for modern lifestyles, creating a combined kitchen and family area that's fantastic for day-to-day living and entertaining.

Brampton village has a historic village green and a memorial garden created within the main village playing fields.
